It was my first show and I loved it! I wish they had played ants for the encore instead of along the watch tower but i loved if only and tripping billies!!! Joe was also great in rhyme and reason!!!

Great classic opening run, Rhyme & Reason with Lawlor is always great, and super solid encore.

Despite waiting hours in line and in the pouring down rain, it was well worth it! DMB opened up the show with four straight classics which are my favorites (Minarets especially). As this is my first concert this year it was also my first time hearing DOTHS, Samurai Cop and Bismark. Samurai Cop was my favorite of the three and very high up on my list of overall favorites. Jow Lawlor klilled it on Rhyme and Reason. Love that they played Crush AND Jimi Thing (with Sexy MF), two great jam songs! And to top things off was the encore with AATW-->Tripping Billies. A very much satisfying setlist and fantastic performance!

Amazing energy throughout the night! First time for me at VA Beach, and I was impressed by the venue as well. We were at the very back of the pit, dead center, and it couldn\'t have been more perfect. Plenty of room to dance, and still super close to the stage. When the worst thing about a night in the pit is a weird high/drunk dude wearing a backpack trying to hug and fist-pound everyone, you know it\'s been a success. Warehouse opener into three more old songs in a row was a perfect way to start. R&R was face-melting with Joe guesting on guitar; best version I\'ve ever seen of that song. Bismarck is still my favorite new song, but I really enjoyed seeing Bob Law live and like it a lot more after seeing it in person. Watchtower into Billies was insane. Assumed it was going to be a one-song encore once Watchtower started, but the band ended with the pleasant surprise of an extra song. Thank you DMB for another excellent summer night. Looking forward to Alpine!

My first experience in the pit and it did not disappoint. The band had great energy and seemed to be having a really good time. The start of the show was phenomenal could not ask for a better start. That Crush outro was crazy and really got the crowd back into the show after DOHS. R&R was a nice surprise with Joe. Dave\'s skat at the end of YMDT was great and a good way to end the show. The encore was crazy I thought we were only going to get the one song and then right into Billies it was really good. Dave was really into a lot of the songs, especially Watchtower.

Warehouse>Minarets opener...Watchtower>Tripping Billies encore...Rhyme and Reason played much differently from what I've seen before. Bismarck very good song looking forward to see where they take this one and some of the other ones. They were very sharp, they sounded great the whole night, they just looked like they were having a blast, the crowd was great..went with good friends and met some great people and this venue is fantastic. Very nice setting. This really was one of the better ones I can recall.

Granted I was in the pit, but...found the energy was incredible. I loved the set list. No downers for me. Highlights were the Warehouse -> Minaret, Rhyme & Reason with Joe Lawler guesting with an incredible guitar solo, Jimi with sexy MF, and great encore.
