Firstly, it was a wonderfully orchestrated and powerful event. Lakota Thunder rocked, and Ledisi blew me out of the water with her vocals (and that guitar player...). Dave gracefully let the spotlight shine on the performer of the moment, but when he and Tim finally came up, they rocked it - Don't Drink the Water to start was goosebump-inducing. The crowd was really into it, especially for the more formal venue. Also got treated to a new song, about Billy Joe in North Dakota, that was soulful and I hope stays in circulation and gets expanded upon. 5-star show/event, no doubt.

The energy in the room was stunning, moving, and gave me chills. Dave and Tim were spot on.

Somber, short, but sweet.

Understand that it wasn't just D&T but other artists also but would have liked a longer set

Really unique show in terms of the venue and guests. The setlist was a little similar to Farmaid, which I also went to, but that\'s pretty much what I expected going in. Dave was REALLY on point with both his vocals and guitar. Really, really crisp and sharp. Very enjoyable performance overall!

Back at DAR for D&T! Second D&T show becomes a mini-festival. Standing w/ Standing Rock. My wife wasn\\\'t feeling well, so I took my then 12 year-old son to his first Dave show (still hasn\\\'t seen DMB yet). It was a great show with great guests all around and a truly worthy cause. Trump\\\'s a myopic man child piece of shit...just sayin\\\'. Graham Nash sounded awesome. Got introduced to Ledisi (much respect for those pipes). Did not expect what was coming next...

Great show. Few more songs would be nice but overall well worth it.

I understand it was a benefit concert and not a full blown D/T show with all proceeds going to a good cause. However, not getting on until 9:30pm and only playing 75 minutes was not what I was expecting or hoping for going into the show. Tickets were not cheap, so I for sure thought D/T would have played longer since they were the headline.

Nice little show. Really unique event. Dave's comments were quite poignant. Would have loved a longer set, and would have loved to have heard Christmas Song, but it probably wasn't the right setting for that song. All-in-all, a nice Sunday night out in DC.

The show has to be compared in separate parts - the performance and the crowd. First, the performance was stellar - gave me such high hopes for any further US D&T dates. They sounded great and I loved the collaborations and new content. Just goes to show the talent of Dave as a song writer and connection these two have when they play. Second, you have the crowd and boy what a bunch of fools. They were obnoxious and inconsiderate to say the least. People running down the center aisle screaming for everyone to stand up at an acoustic show. Oh and here’s a note, if you’re going to yell during a slow song and say “it’s my FAVORITE song” ... do us all a favor and know the lyrics or at least the name of the song. So many tools, i just sat there shaking my head. Overall, yet another D&T show tormented by a few. Wish I had a better section to appreciate what a great night it was.
