1st Dave and Tim Show...Sound was awesome and the set list fantastic! Went in with low expectations but was wowed with how these two great performers could make me forget that the whole band was not on stage! Will Definitely go see these 2 again if I get a chance!

I've taken a few nights to sort out how I felt about this show. If I had just looked at the set list online, I probably would not have thought this show had much to offer. I mean the first eight songs in a row were songs that even passing fans would know well. There really wasn't much sprinkled in there for the ultimate DMB/Dave/Tim fan. However, when I looked back at the moments that stood out to me, there were actually quite a few. The parts in Why I Am that always hit me and conjure up memories of Leroi, did so as usual. For some reason as the years go on, that connection to this song seems to grow, not get played out as one would expect to happen. Having never seen a D & T Rapunzel live, that was a highlight, even though it was very apparent that this song was not yet 100% polished for the road. DDTW came out loud and aggressive and I have a feeling will sound really good on a quality recording. Out of My Hands was probably my favorite moment of the night. I can't stress enough how much I did not like this song when it first started being played. However, it has really grown on me and the yelling Dave does in this version highlights why. Worried Man Blues has gotten tighter over the course of this tour and again, the screaming Dave did on this version, really made a quality song stand out. As usual Tim's version of Kashmir was amazing and he really gives the song depth. One would swear there are more musicians playing on the song, than just him. Having had Gregg Allman just pass, it was really cool to hear Melissa. D & T did a really quality job, especially considering it is only the second time they have ever played it together. Solid version of Halloween is certainly nothing to complain about. A double encore to finish the night, really ended the show on a high note. I have to say that I am a little jealous of the next show that was played at Jones Beach (6/6/17) as they got Pig, Stay or Leave, Lover Lay Down, Minarets, and So Damn Lucky, which are all on my list of songs that I am always hoping to get. All in all, Dave and Tim at CMAC was another show that ranks right up there for me. Seeing the full band without Leroi still leaves me feeling like something is just not right, no matter how good of a show they put on so So, I do really enjoy seeing D & T, as it is just as awe inspiring as it has always been.

I always have to give Dave and Tim 5 stars. I love hearing them and the crowd seemed really into it the whole show. Loved that people were dancing in the aisles. The only downside to the show was the abundance of well known hits in the beginning and no So Damn Lucky but Out Of My Hands makes up for that. Loved the surprise of Halloween and Melissa awesome Allman brothers tribute! I cant complain I love seeing Dave and Tim!

Between Dave and Tim they played 27 incredible tunes this show. I loved the Gregg Allman shoutout with Melissa as well. One of the greatest shows I've seen to date.

Only downfall is all the ritzy, season tickets holders that take up; the majority of the great seats and leave halfway through.
