By far and away the best Dave show I've been to. Unreal. All the songs I wanted to hear and so many I didn't expect to hear.

Had a great time at the shows! My first time at Alpine; I volunteered with Reverb and sold the DMB Nalgene water bottles each night.
N1 I stayed down in the lower left lawn the whole night...from good advice on the boards here about that. The sound was good but unfortunately the screen was out for the majority of the show. Thoroughly enjoyed YNK, Crush, Rooftop, Granny, and Two Step > Ants. Moved to the top of the lawn for the encore, and after the last notes of Rapunzel I made a beeline for my rental car in the yellow lot. Didn’t even need to slow the car down in leaving the lot, and was on Hwy D & I-43 within minutes.
N2 I started around the same spot on the lawn (they fixed the screen projector!), but moved toward the back of the lawn in the last 1/4 of the show. Good sound back there too, and was pleased to hear my first JTR since 2001. Always love #41 and Recently. Had to park in the blue lot since I was later getting to the venue this time...so my exit was a little slower but still not bad at all.
Saturday I day-tripped across the border to Dubuque Iowa, to eat at one of my favorite chain rib places that’s no longer near me where I live. Also visited the filming location for Field of Dreams in Dyersville Iowa. “If you build it, they will come”.

2nd night in a row. No repeat songs. My highlight was Sugar Will. JTR and Lover Lay Down were very welcome surprises.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I've been trying to chase the experience I had for the 2004 Live Trax 8 concert ever since but NEVER was able to quite match that.....until yesterday!! The crowd size was ENORMOUS....just like 2004...the set list was amazing and the crowd participation was absolutely phenomenonal! I hope they release Everyday as a live track.....even the band looked amazed by that moment! I was fortunate to be in the pit 3rd row center....what an amazing experience....I'd say this was arguably the best concert I've ever been to!!

To date, my best all-around DMB experience. In the pit front and center w/Tommy, Danny, and Sean.

Aficionado appreciation setlist. Energy wasn't as dialed in/harmonious with the crowd as the previous night or Deer Creek the week before but the internet will go gaga over the setlist. A magical weekend at Alpine.

Solid show, but not a mind blowing one. My biggest gripe was that they didn't go into Halloween after Watchtower ended, thus an early ending for an Alpine N2. JTR, Lover Lay Down, & #27 were highlights. I was very happy to not have to sit through Jimi or You & Me. Overall, a fun time. Just left me wanting a little more.

I laughed, I cried, I sang, and I danced my ass off. Such a great energy at AV. Thoroughly enjoyed my 1st weekend there. The 2nd show was sooooo good. I finally got a full #27. A good mix of rarities and songs that are so good to hear live. I couldn't leave my seat until Cornbread to run up the hill to go the bathroom. Sledgehammer rocks out still eventhough I have heard it a bunch by now. PHJB guesting on Louisiana Bayou was not expected but exactly what everyone wanted. Loved the deep bass Stephan was dishing out. The interplay of Rashawn & Jeff is just so great! Tim... AMAZING. Buddy! Buddy! Dave & Carter's energy throughout. AND IT WAS A JIMI THING FREE WEEKEND!!!

JTR, Lover Lay Down, Minarets, BOWA, Billies Opener and a RIDICULOUS Louisiana Bayou with Preservation Hall Jazz Band. 1st Alpine weekend and it lived up to the billing!

Started out with a bang and some really deep cuts, but just a bit of a choppy, confused show.

Another amazing show! Thank goodness I was able to get over the food poisoning that plagued me the entire day. It think I ate some bad dip the night before.....but couldn't have been the corn dip so
I'm not sure. Great times with Mark and Tim again my Alpine fellas!

Being 5th row in the pit was amazing, Preservationn was an amazing addition, however, set list was lacking for me. Recently was fun, Bayou with PH was great. Seemed like a short #41.

Really a great show. Havent been here with all my friends since 2010. Once with my girlfriend in 2015 but not with the whole group back together. Partied hard at Lake Geneva, and we hit it hard. So many classics. JTR was the bees knees of songs. Best of whats Around in the Encore, and a Bayou that I will never forget. Sometimes the Set on Paper doesnt show the energy. This one was FIRE! Love this band and Love alpine Valley

Really funky/ethereal bass solo into All Along the Watchtower encore. Excellent second night show. Great crowd except for one drunk knucklehead in the pit jabbering on about how fans just aren't fanatical enough, like him, and singing every third word.
Much cooler outside which made for a more enjoyable show. Getting older now, I think this will be my last show in the pit. Hope to trade someone in their twenties for decent seats in the center front section from now on :)

One of the best shows I've been to. Once again, the band's energy was off the charts. But what capped the entire weekend for me, was an old-school Recently.
I'm tempted to knock it down to a 4* rating, because of an awkward Sugar Will and a completely useless Sledgehammer. Had they subbed those with Dreaming Tree or Stone, it would have been epic.

I kind of wish we'd done Night 1 instead but Night 2 was still a blast, had a lot of fun. Highlights: 41, JTR, BOWA.

Amazing energy in the pit. Setlist I'm sure looks blah on paper but I thought it flowed very well and it was nice to get rare treats like Recently, JTR, and Lover Lay Down. Encore was a 10/10 as well.
