DMB and Big Head Todd and the Monsters began a tour together. They alternated headlining (depending upon which band was more popular in which town). The Ugly Americans also served as an "opening" band for both bands. This is why, until 3/17/95, some DMB shows have encores, and some do not. It just depended if they were opening or not, and sometimes the curfews ran close to the end of their sets and they just blew off the encore. |
