a clever anti-organized religion song, telling how people crutch themselves with ceremony. There is a reference to Jesus in the second stanza, asking how long you'd survive without food or drink (a reference to the 40 days wandering, also told in the song Save Me). Again influenced by the passing of LeRoi Moore, the song concludes with a plea to live life fully, and don't dread death (in terms of spending your whole life worrying about death or living a certain way to achieve enlightenment) . |
